16.11.2022. A super shoot at H&W this week. Loads of changes and some extremely challaenging targets. Only 2 shooters beat their average for the year. A credit to the groundsmen. Top gun was Bob Warder who's 60 breaks was 6 better than the runner up. An impressive shooting display Bob. Gary Griffiths's 54 took the scratch Silver spot with Julian Waszcak's 62 taking the bronze position. Rhiddian Billingham was the only other shooter to beat the 50 barrier. Handicap Gold went

09.11.2022. Hi all, it's nearly the time of year for our traditional Christmas shoot. I'm suggesting we stay with the wednesday before Christmas ie. the 21st of December for our festivities. With a poor weather forcast it was no surprise to find our numbers down last Wednesday. The rain held off for most of the day but the strong winds made many simple targets quite interesting but some great scores were recorded nevertheless. Two scores of 65 were returned with Gary Griffiths taking the Gold spot on Handicap adjustment, just beating Bob Warder. A similar situation for the Bronze position. 26.10..2022. Sad news indeed this week everyone. I've just learned that Dave Talbot who shot with us regularly during the Covid period, finally lost his lengthy battle against Cancer last week. I'm told he died peacefully with his family at his side. David was a keen shooter who I first met with another group about ten years ago. A great guy, great fun, and great company. I shall miss him. We are advised by his family that there will not be a traditional funeral but a celeb

19.10..2022. Some more good Scores last week with Len Sandford having a good day to break 66 targets and earn himself the Scratch Gold medal. Bob Warder and Julian Waszczak each scored 63 with Bob beating Julian to the Silver on a fractional handicap difference. Some quite amazing results on the Handicap challenge this week.
