18.01.23. Another day when the temperature was barely above freezing and another interesting shoot at Mr. Butlers. Once again, none of the scores I received exceeded the shooters average. Top gun was Bob Warder who's 55 was 4.5 below his average score. If Bob cant break them, what chances for us mortals! Silver position went to myself Len, with a very pleasing 52, three better than last week. Bronze place went to Dave Salter. Handicap Gold went to Mark Reacord who's modest 20

11.01.23. A cold and miserable day which resulted in a low turnout. A difficult course at Butlers judged on the fact that no-one beat their average score. I cannot recollect that ever happening before. Top score came from Gary Griffiths who broke 55 targets using light cartridges. Runner up was Bob Warder with 50 kills. Len Sandford took the scratch Bronze with 49 targets destroyed. Gary's 55 was just 0.4 of a target below his average but it was good enough to take the Handi

04.01.23. The 1st shoot of the New Year proved to be a tester. The Handicap average was down by nearly 7 points telling us that some testing targets were in there. Gold medal this week went to Julian Waszczak who's 52 kills equalled Bob Warder's but the handicap adjustment left Bob in the Silver spot. Bob Jordan took the third place with an excellent 51. Mark Reacord is quietly improving each week and takes the Handicap Gold medal again. Keep it up Mark. Ian Edwards was the

28.12.2022. A busy day at Butlers last week. Car park was packed but quite a few Dodgers didn't fancy the predicted windy and wet conditions. Low scores were the order of the day. Julian Waszczak took scratch Gold with a score of 58, with Len Sandford taking silver just one target behind. Dave Nightingale just beat Rhiddian Billingham to the Bronze medal on handicap difference, both scored 55. Dave Gee and Mark Reacord both continued to improve their handicap perfomances with

14.12.2022. Another cold one but as I write the ice and snow are turning to slush. Hope everything clears up for our last pre-xmas shoot. Some massive scores in this week which must have given a few Dodgers a great uplift for the annual Xmas competition next week. Two shooters tied for top spot with 66 recorded kills. Bob Warder, always one of our top shooters can be relied on to be up there but this week his 66 was eclipsed by a similar mind blowing effort from Simon Honeybo

21.12.2022. A great turnout of 33 Dodgers for our Xmas shoot this week. Clement weather and good targets made for a super competition with some excellent scores being returned. Re-analysis of the scores on the evening after the shoot found two mistakes, one of which involved a medal award. I will deal with them in this commentary. Top Handicapper was Mark Reacord, a relative novice who's only been shooting since the Summer. His modest score (a re-count of his card gave him a
