Another day when the temperature was barely above freezing and another interesting shoot at Mr. Butlers.
Once again, none of the scores I received exceeded the shooters average. Top gun was Bob Warder who's 55 was 4.5 below his average score. If Bob cant break them, what chances for us mortals! Silver position went to myself Len, with a very pleasing 52, three better than last week. Bronze place went to Dave Salter. Handicap Gold went to Mark Reacord who's modest 20 equaled his current average and was easily the best individual perfomance of the day. Dave Gee took the Silver position with Roy KItchen taking the handicap Bronze.
All three out performed the top 6 scrach scores. Well done lads.
Compared to Brockhill, South Worcester is always a more exposed and colder ground. Last week was no exception. Just 4 stalwarts out to play but we were again rewarded with an excellent shoot. Tony Gray retained his position of top shot of the year by once again taking the Gold medal spot. Len and Trevor took the Silver and Bronze scratch positions. Trevor Griffiths took the Handicap Gold spot with John Griffiths, (no relation) just half a point behind in Silver place. Tony Gray filled the bronze spot. I can't speak for our readers, but I'm looking forward to some warmer days in the next few weeks. Happy shooting!.
