A quiet day at H&W last week. I was absent, (getting soaked in Cornwall) so I can't comment on your barometric conditions.
With only one exception there were a pretty mediocre set of results which indicated that the course was not easy. The exception was Julian Waszczak who scored a mighty 67 to take Scratch Gold and beat the runner-up, Dave Nightingale, by 11 clear targets. Irrespective of the quality of the stands, that was a stunning performance. Third place was taken by Eric Hall just 2 points further back. Julians 67 also earned him the Handicap Gold, beating Peter Johnson by 2.3 breaks. Dave Nightingale took handicap third place just over a single point further back.
No scores returned from South Worcester so an easy commentary this week.
