Another fine day for a shoot. Can I first apologise to David Nightingale for omitting his score from last week's results. David put in a creditable score of 60 that would have placed him in the Silver medal spot on the Handicap scorecard. A great score David, sorry I missed it. At H&W this week, several stands had been stiffened up resulting in an interesting shoot with only 8 out of 21 handicap scores better than their average. Top gun and Gold medal on the scratch results was Bob Warder with 62 broken targets. Runners up with 59 were Julian Waszczak and Geoff Pomroy, Geoff took the Silver medal place on Handicap adjustment. Don Walford took the Handicap Gold for the second week running. Well shot Don, keep it up. Dave Berridge took the Handicap runner up spot, closely followed by David Nightingale who finished a fraction behind in third place.
South Worcester provided another set of close results with Geoff Pomroy and Len Sandford sharing the top spot with a score of 84. Len's marginally better handicap scores sneaked him the Gold position here. Dave Salter was just a single point behind in third place. Len took the Handicap top spot with Trevor Griffiths taking the Silver place on only his second shoot of the year. Geoff Pomroy took the Handicap bronze position. Tony Gray took up his musket again for the first time since his recent heart surgery and put in an excellent score over 5 points better than his average. Welcome back on board Tony.
