A good course again at Butlers with one or two very testing targets to keep the scores down a bit.

That did not deter a couple of marksmen on Eric Hall's squad. Eric's 60, easily took the scratch Gold medal by beating his nearest rival, Geoff Pomroy, by 4 targets. The Scratch Bronze place went to Steve Honner who's 53 beat Len's similar score on handicap adjustment. Eric's score, (his best since last August), also won him the Handicap Gold medal of the day. Handicap Silver place went to his squad mate, Chris Monk who was just a point and a half behind. Great results from both of them. Handicap Bronze was taken by Dave Gee who has missed several weeks shooting due to his own worn out  joints. Well done David.

South Worcester saw the return of  our top shot, Paul Stokes, who, once again, reminded us of how the ground should be tackled. His consitency is quite amazing. His average score over the last three years has been 85. Guess what he scored this week?. Yup, a Gold medal winning 85 again, beating the best of his rivals, Len,  by 7 targets. Bronze position was taken by Jonathan Skelding, just a single target behind Len. Len's scratch silver  score won the handicap top spot with a score that  was 4 points better than his average. Just 2 points behind, Jonathan took the handicap Silver spot leaving Paul to take the Bronze place with his 100 average. Another good day's shooting all round.
