Some astronomical scores at the H&W ground last week with only one shooter failing to exceed his average and most of the rest beating their average by over 10 targets. Bob Warder scored another unbeaten 70 to take the scratch Gold medal. Len Sandford put in an excellent 68 to take the runner up spot with his best score of the year. Third place went to Steve Honner with 66 targets broken and another best score of 2023. Handicap Gold went to Don Walford who beat his average by almost 18 points. An amazing result Don. Len took the handicap Silver spot, beating his own average by a massive 14 targets. Mark Reacord took the Handicap Bronze position, just one target behind Len. I think it is fair to say that Shane and the lads gave us an ego boosting set of targets last week that enabled a lot of 'best scores' to be recorded.. Treasure those results,

A damp afternoon with Coffin Dodgers thin on the ground again this week at South Worcester. A testing course with no earth shattering scores to report. The dropping looper on stand 4 was still too good for us with only Tony Gray able to find a single target out of a total of 15 attempts (3 shooters, 5 pairs). Len managed a creditable 79 and took the Scratch top spot. Geoff Pomeroy was runner up with Tony, well off his best, taking third spot. The Scratch positions were similarly reflected in each of the Handicap placings.
