Tickets for the Wednesday Shooters Hog Roast on the 18th of September are going quickly. Just a reminder that the occasion is a 'Thank you' from Ian for the loyal support that the Coffin Dodgers and the rest of his regular Wednesday crowd have shown by turning up every week. A big 'thank you' to Ian and the rest of his team for making us so welcome. Some good scores and a tight set of scratch results at Mr Butler's last week.  Bob Warder, at his usual best, put in a super 65 to beat Len Sandford to the Gold by just a single break. Third place, just another point behind was taken by Chris Arthur whose accuracy and consistency is becoming legendary. Handicap Gold was taken by the steadily improving  David Gee who beat his average by almost 8 points. Great shooting Dave. Len's best score this year earned him the Handicap runner-up spot with a score 7 breaks better than his 2024 average. Handicap Bronze place was won by  Peter Johnson whose greatly improved recent scores may earn him a few well-earned 'Specsavers' jokes. Well done Peter.  Just two weeks after heart bypass surgery, Tony Gray joined us at South Worcester. He was looking extremely well, and although he couldn't shoot, he walked the full course with us and buttoned/scored every stand. Great to see you, Tony. Top gun was Paul Stokes whose 92 was his best score for two years. Brilliant shooting Paul. Runner-up was Jonathan Skelding with 77 targets. followed by Len Sandford's 68 hits. Paul's score beat his average by 7 targets which easily placed him on top of the Handicap results which mirrored the scratch scores exactly.
