Despite a dire weather forecast, the elements remained kind to us who braved them. Bob Warder reigned as top gun with 57 kills. Scores were subdued except for the relative novices to our group.
Steve Honnor put in a great 45 to beat his average by 10 His handicap score of 85 took was 3 points clear of Don Walford's 82. Jaffar Shamsuddin's 80 filled in a hat trick of much improved performances by our keen newcomers.
Only two turned out for a wet afternoon at South Worcester. Len Sandford and Tony Gray finished within a point of each other with Len taking High gun and Tony taking the Handicap so honours were shared equally.
