A good shoot with a chilly start. Apologies to David Nightingale for omitting his excellent 54 score last week. It would have placed him very close to a handicap medal.

It was great to have some of our Thursday Dodgers back in the Wednesday fold to swell our numbers. We also had our sugar rations back when Ian rejoined us. We've missed his words of encouragement over the last couple of months. The writer was pleased to finally master the simmo pair down the bottom field but still struggled with that silly little rabbit on the previous stand.

They looked simple enough but caught out some tidy shooters in the two squads that I watched shoot them. Yours truly put in a good 60 but was beaten by the same score put in by Geoff Pomroy. Geoff shot 79 ex 100 but rounding up and adding his handicap score gave him the Gold. 7

A super morning's shooting Geoff. Scratcb bronze went to Simon Honeyborne with a great 57. Handicap Gold went to Mike Lee-Lambert who shot 8 above his average with a score of 51. This matched his years best score. Runner up was Geoff Pomroy with Trevor, (TKOTR) Griffiths taking the bronze, a sure sign his 12g auto is still behaving itself.

Len took the gold at South Worcester with his best score for 2 years, a very pleasing 86 ex 100.. Paul Stokes was runner up with 80 broken targets leaving TKOTR in the Bronze spot with a score of 63. Len took the Handicap Gold with Trevor beating Paul to the Silver. Another great day's shooting.
