Another perfect shooting day. A cool and cloudy day but the rain kept away until late afternoon.
Most Dodgers managed to improve on their scores this week suggesting that last week's updated layout was now being mastered. Bob Warder managed an excellent 63 giving him both the Scratch and Handicap medal.Lii put in another good round to be runner up on both scores.
Only five of us down SW and it seems that one of us had forgotten what he had came for!. (He had forgotten to bring his musket with him) Even so, Ian's banter always brightens up an overcast shooting venue. Top honours, with a score of 76 were shared between Len and Li, with LI taking the Handicap title.
With such a great set of targets, it's a pity we are so thin on the ground down there.
As an aside, there seems to be quite a ruck of long-established Dodgers who I'd like to contact if only to check up on how they are faring. Giver the scale of Covid infections earlier in the year, I'd like to think that it is only the risk of infection that is keeping them away. If anyone can put me in contact with Chris, Eric, Peter Johnson, or any other of our missing faces, I'll gladly give them a ring and report back as to their health and tempers. It would be good to report that only a apprehensive disposition is keeping them away. If anyone has news or phone numbers, message me on 07836 367889. (Len).
