As a result of a broken trap, we had a substantially changed course on Wednesday that resulted in every medal being won by a 'year to date' best score. In total, eight Dodgers recorded their best scores of the year. I reckon the trappers are feeling sorry for us!

The replacement 5 pairs on the novice stand certainly helped everyone's total. Scratch Gold went to Julian Wazczak with a brilliant 64. Bob Jordan's 63 took the Silver, with Simon Honeyborne taking the Bronze with a great 62. Handicap Gold was won by Robert Wilson who's 50 breaks beat his average by 12. What an effort. Well done Robert. Handicap Silver was won by Simon Honeyborne's 62, while Bob Jordan took the third spot. Suzie Small, Dave Gee, and Mike Lee-Lambert all recorded their best score of the year. Well done everyone.

South Worcester was decidedly cooler in the afternoon with a biting northerly wind cooling the venue. Len took the scratch Gold with a satisfying 80 kills. Matt Spencer was runner up with a magnificent 77. Geoff Pomroy took the bronze spot with a solid 75. Matt's 77 easily took the handicap Gold . John Griffith's super little 28g once again proved that it can break any target on the ground and took the handicap runner up spot. Geoff Pomroy won the Bronze.

Can I remind everyone that our Xmas shooting competition will take place on Wednesday the 22nd of December followed by presentations later. We usually pool resources to put on a buffet for all who attend. Generally, Bob Jordan, Robert Wilson and myself try and co-ordinate the refreshments, which Ian has kindly allowed us to share out in the Clubhouse. If you are able to bring a little something along, please let an organiser know.
