A beautiful day for a shoot. Having missed a couple of shoots recently, I found the course at Butlers to be almost new but still, an excellent mixed layout with just a couple of targets which I suspect will be destined for Shanes next extreme day.

Scratch topshot this week was Geoff Pomroy who's 59 was a decisive 4 points clear of the days runner up, Gary Griffiths. Len Sandford filled the 3rd place with 53 targets ticked off. Handicap gold went to Geoff Pomroy giving him a clean sweep of the top medals. Alan Bailey put in another improved total to become the Handicap runner up. Len S took the handicap third place.

At South Worcester, with everyone beating their average, either targets are getting easier or everyone has improved over the last week.(I prefer the latter). Top scratch score went to Jonathan Thornton who's 86 confirms his top shooting ability. Geoff Pomroy was runner up with 79 broken targets. Len Sandford took the bronze spot, just a single kill behind Geoff. Smallbores prevailedon on the handicap front with the topspot going to John Griffith's super little 28g. Trevor's 20g was just a fraction behind to take the Silver position. A 75 year old Winchester Pump Action having it's first shoot with its new owner was the only 12g to figure. Well done Mr Skelding, a super handicap bronze place..
