Unless there were scores missing last week, we had our lowest turnout of the year so far.
I was advised that Shane had, once again, not lost his sense of humour when he put on the end stand. I couldn't posiibly say 'cos I was busy boating. Two of our better shooters managed just one kill between them out of 20 shots. I'll be able to test it myself this week if it is left on.
Top scratch gun was Bob Warder with 55 broken targets. Juliam Waszczak was runner up with a score of 52 closely followed by Bob Jordan who was just a single target behind. The Handicap Gold went to Trevor Griffiths who shot 6 better than his average. Great shooting Trev. Handicap rumnner up was Mark Reacord who beat his own average by over three targets. Bob Jordan took the Handicap Bronze position.
Some fine scores again at SW last week. Jonathan Thornton's 90% took the scratch top spot with Jon Skelding an excellent runner up.with 78 kills. John Griffiths took the third place. Jon Thornton's super 90 also won him thw Handicap top spot with Mr Skelding less than a single kill behind him. John Griffiths took the handicap third place. Aziz keeps improving. He has bettered his previous score each week since he returned to clay shooting 5 weeks ago. Keep it up Aziz. Most squads have a shooter who normally accepts the task of sending myself their individual scores. This works very well until holidays, illness, or social pressures affect the nominted scorer.
All I need is a phone or whatsapp message of the squads results being sent to 07836 367889. A photo of the squad card is as good of course. The scores have been recorded now for 17 years. Please help me keep them right.
