Some good scores again this week. Bob Warder was once again at his best missing only 6 targets to take the weekly gold medal for the second consecutive week. Brilliant shooting Bob.
Len took the silver with a very pleasing 63 with Dave Talbot taking the bronze with a great 61. Gary Griffiths's score of 60 was 10 better than his average and meant that he easily took the Handicap Gold medal.
Dave Talbot was once again in the medals and took the Handicap Silver with his super 61. Handicap Bronze went Bob Warder.
Once again, only three of us attended South Worcester this week. Scores were severely muted and I must admit there was a suggestion that the scorecard should have had an accident involving a box of matches. Bad sportsmanship I thought so here goes.
Len took the scratch Gold with 72 targets broken. That's 8 below his average to date. Trevor managed to break 68 to take the Silver while John G's 50% gave him the Bronze. Trevor took the Handicap Gold despite missing his average by 2 clear targets. Len took Silver and John G made it a full house by taking his second bronze of the day.
Enough of mocking the SW scores, lets all now look forward to the first, belated, signs of spring. Despite the damp and miserable Wednesdays we have been getting, I must report that I passed a stunted but improving row of Daffodils on my way home on Wednesday evening. Cheered me up immensly. Have a good week.
