9th January 2019

It was a bitterly cold morning but the afternoon at South Worcester was far more pleasant.

Dave Salter was high gun with 59/75. Most people shot well below their capability which most likely was attributed to the cold conditions. It was so cold that Malcolm was wearing his best ‘beanie’ hat and they don’t normally do that sort of thing in Worcester!

The turnout at the club was very high. This contributed to the time delay in us getting around. John G, who normally shoots at S. Worcs during Wednesday afternoon, braved the arduous journey ‘up-north’ to shoot with us. Sam also made a welcome return and managed 44/75 which was a sound score for the morning.

The course continued to offer very testing targets. These have been in place for a while and Shane has indicated that he will soon give us a change.

The handicap scores will appear over the next few weeks when we have more results for 2019.

Good luck to all Dodgers in 2019!
