Len returned this week and shot a blistering 67/75 for high gun. He shot the first 54 targets before missing! Howard shot a personal best of 58 to deservedly take the handicap medal. Dave S, Julian and Noel also shot their personal best for the year so far. A mention for Bob J who shot 61/75 with his 20 gauge.

Dave S had his score increased by four targets which KotR found lurking on his scorecard. Unfortunately, the opposite occurred on Len’s South Worcester card when a nine should have been a seven. His concentration was probably broken while he was shaking his head at Trevor’s continued ‘shite’ shooting!

Butler’s was well attended but we managed to shoot without undue delay.

There is now evidence that the new ‘Claymate’ system is being introduced. KotR hopes it is not too difficult for the old ‘uns to understand. Rather a shame after all these years that is has been introduced but when the system is abused, it is necessary for everyone’s benefit.

As it will not be long before Easter eggs start appearing in the shops, a reminder that our Christmas shoot will be on 19th December.

Butler’s: Eric H, Bob W and Ian E were equal high gun with 63/75. Ian takes it when handicap considered! Ian also won the handicap Average score was 51.9

South Worcester. Dave S was high gun with 76/84. John G won the handicap
