The disappointing weather continues with another outing of our waterproof scorecards. Hope these last as we have very few of them. Thanks for looking after them. We use 2B pencils and hopefully a delicate touch when entering the scores.

Some interesting targets again this week. One trap was in need of adjustment as the target was far too low to be feasible. Only one score in the 60 which was Dave S who finished with 61 after KotR found another target on his score card. Chris was the handicap winner this week with a very pleasing 51. The average score was 44.9.

Thanks to all who have contributed to the defibrillator. This is now behind the counter and easily accessible. It is hoped another course on its use will be arranged in the future.

The usual gluttons for punishment set off for South Worcester, experiencing atrocious weather conditions on the motorway. Fortunately, we were again lucky as it stayed dry while we were shooting. A confident Tony proclaiming with a few stands to shoot, that it wouldn’t rain now!

Having lost his ‘Mojo’ at HWSG in the morning, it returned to Trevor in the afternoon shooting 74/100 for equal high gun with Tony.

Severn Vale Team Competition

This will be held at South Worcester Shooting Ground on Saturday 26th. May. Shot in teams of five, over 12 stands, 80 birds with all scores to count. If any Dodgers are interested in organizing their own team, contact John at SW for an entry form.

Butler’s Dave S was high gun with 61/75. Chris won the handicap. Average score was 44.9
