This year’s Christmas Shoot was again, an enjoyable event.

​Thank to Mr. B and his team for giving us the run of the ground and Clubhouse in order for us to arrange presentations and refreshments. Thanks to all of you who contributed.

Bob J was victorious, winning the Scratch Medal. For those of you unaware, Bob was quite unwell and struggled that morning.

Well done. Fei and Len tied for second place. Nigel won the handicap with Peter and Duncan following. A number of Dodgers had caught a rather unpleasant ‘bug’ which laid them low! Robert in France, spending Boxing Day in bed. KotR was unable to make the final Wednesday shoot of the year which was the only Wednesday missed this year!

​Thanks to those of you who did manage to get down to HWSG and deprive Mr B some of his targets.

​Thanks to those who contributed ‘behind the scenes’ to make our shooting successful, particularly to Len, Bob J and Robert.

​A new award was introduced. We are all aware of the Sixty over Sixty Badge. We now have a Seventy over Seventy Shield. One name is already on there. Bob W who was unable to attend. He will hold the shield until the next ‘old-un’ shoots seventy or more. For information, there have been a number of us who have done this in the past so the new award may not stay with Bob until the next Christmas Shoot.

​The scores for the last Wednesday will be published when received.

​Butler’s Bob J and Bob W tied for high gun with 65. Bob J gets it with Handicap. Peter won the handicap medal. Average score was 56.0

​South Worcester Shoot cancelled.

​6th December 2017

​Butler’s Len, Bob J, Peter, Dave S and Li were equal high gun with 58/75. Peter gets it when the handicap is taken into consideration. He also wins this week’s weekly handicap medal. The average score was 48.2

​South Worcester Len was high gun and handicap winner with 83/100.

​Butler’s Dave S was high gun with 55/75. Peter won this week’s handicap medal. The average score was 42.3
