There were seventeen of us braving the mighty wind and facing the possibility of getting seriously wet. Some of the targets were unpredictable but we remained dry and had a good shoot.
Bob J was ‘on-fire’ and scored an excellent 67/75. He could have reached 70 had he made contact with the rabbits! Suz made a welcome return and shot a very pleasing 56 to give her the weekly handicap medal. The average score was 52.7.
Eric returned this week having possibly spent some time changing his name by Deed Poll back to Eric from VA14 YHN – at least that’s what’s now on his number plate! Sadly he needed all ten of the targets on his last stand to gain a credit for his ‘High Five’ award but managed to miss one of them. At least, there wasn’t another ‘Treegate’ episode such as we experienced at South Worcester last week.
Malcolm used his 20 gauge for the first time on a Wednesday shoot and scored a very creditable 49! Dave N also scored 49 this week making him the third Dodger this week who would have loved to have scored just one extra kill!
KotR noticed when passing Bromsgrove Rugby Ground on the way to South Worcester, the house which was proudly displaying our Union Flag now seem to be out of distress. They’ve now hoisted it the correct way up!
KotR was disconsolate at S. Worcs. on learning that one of the rabbit traps was FUBAR.
