Great to see Robert Wilson up and about again last week. Soon be time to get the old musket out again, eh Rob?

Another set of good scores at Butler's this week with only three shooters not beating their average scores. Chris Arthur posted a brilliant 68 to comfortably take both the Scratch and Handicap Gold medals. Scratch runner up was Bob Warder who's 66 'kills' suggested that Bob is now back to top form. Great score Bob. Len, your commentator, put another excellent score, (for him) with 64 targets re-constituted into little bits. His score beat his current average by 11 breaks and earned him the Handicap runner-up position. His latest new gun seems to be having the desired effect this last few weeks. Handicap third place this week goes to Dave Nightingale who's 60 kills represented an over 10 points improvementon his average score. Super shooting all round this week. '

Once again, a nice afternoon for shooting at South Worcester. Commitments at another ground with the Punt Club left us thin on the ground but did not spoil what is always an interesting course. Paul Stokes gave us a free shooting lesson again by scoring a super 84% kill rate. This took the scratch and handicap top spot. Despite suffering well from a painful and debilitating shoulder joint, Len was scratch runner up with 74 targets destroyed.. John Griffith's 59% third place earned him the handicap runner-up spot, beating Len's handicap score by less than half a target. Well shot John.
