Judging by the fact that all but one Dodger (me) beat their handicap scores this week, the shoot at Butlers was the easiest we had seen for a long while. Bob Warder led the way with a superb 67 to take the Scratch Gold medal. Gary Griffiths and Julian Waszczak tied with a score of 62, Julian took the Silver place after handicap adjustment came into play.

The Handicap was tight with the leaders all being within a quarter of a point of each other. Handicap Gold went to Mark Reacord who's 39 was his best score this year. It beat his average by over 11 clays. A massive improvement, well done Mark. Handicap Silver went to Chris Arthur who was just a tiny fraction behind Mark's winning score. Nigel Jordan put in another best score this year to take the Handicap Bronze position. Massive improvements by each of the Handicap leaders.

Great summer(ish) weather again at S.W.. Perfect for shooting.and as usual, some super distant targets put on by the ground crew. Geoff Pomroy put in a sparkling performance and took the scratch Gold place with his best score this year. A magic 86 which placed him in a different class to the rest of us. Len Sandford was a remote runner up with 74 kills just one target above Tony Gray's 73. Geoff's 86 also took the Handicap top spot but only just beating John Griffith's score by a single target. Trevor Griffiths took the handicap bronze position. Aziz joined us again and, as predicted, improved his last score significantly. He has obviously been a keen shooter before his recent mobility problems. Keep it up Aziz. All in all, a super days shooting.
