May 11th.

A wild and wet Wednesday morning but once again, judging by the scores, some very good shooting was enjoyed by the squads who braved the elements. 44

Our squad had a great round except fot the rabbots on the bottom pond. out of four of us, we had two smileys, a single kill and a 4 out of 6 by the days top gun, Julian Waszczak. Julian's score of 67 was his best yet and was achieved by missing no more than one on any stand except the very missable rabbits.

Silver spot went to another of our squad, Matt Stevens, who was putting in a great round until one of the smileys spoilt his card. He still managed a 64. Great shooting Matt.

Bronze spot went to Geof Pomroy who, after whacking 5 of 6 bunnies, put in a personal best of 63. Handicap gold went to Ian Jeffries who beat his average by 8 clear points, a remakable improvement Ian. Julian's scratch win also earned him the handicap Silver while the Bronze went to Geoff Pomroy who beat his own average by over 7 points. Well done Geoff.

The rain had cleared when we started at South Worcester. Tony Gray again took the Gold with 84 dusted clays. Geoff Pomroy kept his eye in and took the Silver spot with a fine 83 kills. Len took the bronze spot with a very respectable 81. The handicap gold and Silver were taken by the scratch leaders with the bronze going to Trevor Griffiths. Some super targets and a great venue enjoyed by all.
