A cold miserable morning did not deter Julian Shuker who managed to get in his first shoot of the year and put in his best score ever. Having not fired his gun since the last Xmas shoot, is he giving us all a message? Brilliant shooting Julian.
A load of super scores this week and some massive Handicap perfomances. Mr Shuker's 66 took the scratch Gold medal with Bob Jordan's 64 kills taking the Silver position. Dave Nighingale and Julian Waszczak tied for third place with David winning the cigar on handicap adjustment. All great scores. Bob Jordan's 64 beat his average by over 15 targets. I can't remember that being bettered. An incredible handicap performance Bob and a well earned Gold medal. Dave Nightingale took the Handicap Silver position with Malcom Speer taking the Bronze position with a score over 12 points better than his average.
A most impressive set of scores this week. Apologies to Chris M and Peter J for not logging their scores this week. (I mislaid their wet cards at SW. will be corrected next week)
A bitter north wind when we arrived at South Worcester this week.A small turnout but still an excellent shoot. Len was top scorer with 79 broken targets. Trevor G put in a super 70 and John Griffiths's little 28g excelled itself once again with a cracking 63 which easily put him in the Handicap top spot. Great shooting John. Trevor's 70 beat his average by 3 targets to take handicap rumnner-up spot. Len barely equalled his average so he was well outperfomed on the handicap scale.
