Some tight scoring returned this week with our 2nd best average score of the year.so far. Bob Warder was back on form and took the scratch Gold with 61 broken targets beating Julian Waszczak by a single target. Len took the scratch bronze just one target behind Julian. Don Walford beat his Handicap score by almost 8 targets, a superb improvement that earned him the Handicap Gold medal. Drew Beaumont took the handicap runner up spot with another greatly improved score over 6 shots better than his current average. Chris Monk was just a fraction of a target behind and filled the Bronze spot. A great set of Handicap scores. I note the ground has now numbered the stands for us.

Can I sugest that if any of them throw excessive no-birds, you make a note of the number and let the ground staff know. They will check them immediatly and do their best to ensure we have a good, trouble free shoot.

South Worcester was a cold and damp affair but an excellent shoot with plenty of fresh targets to give us a test. Len was top gun with 80 targets destroyed. Tony Gray was runner up with a score of 76 with Trevor breaking 61. Tony took the Handicap gold spot, just beating Len and leaving Trevor in third place. I don't know about you, but I'm still looking forward to welcoming some Spring weather when it finally decides to make an appearance. Happy shooting.
