.It looks like summer may be on the horizon at last. We enjoyed a lovely warm day.

A fresh face provided the top scratch score this week at H&W. George King put in a superb 71 to take the Gold medal. Bob Warder was back to his best with 66 breaks to take the runner-up spot beating Len into third place by just two targets. Don Walford took the Handicap top spot beating David Gee  by almost two targets with  Eric Hall just a further target behind in third place.

Some very chequered results at South Worcester. Geoff Pomroy was scratch winner with 75 broken clays. runner up, just two targets behind, was Jonathan  Skelding. Tony Gray bought up the third spot with 68 targets broken. Trevor Griffiths is now shooting regularly and slowly building up his fitness. He's managing to shoot a full set of targets and  this week took the Handicap top spot by beating Geoff Pomroy by 6 clear points. Handicap third place was earned by Jonathan Skelding just a further single point behind. Well done Trevor.
