A refreshing surprise this week. Weather was a little warmer and 2 extra stands had been squeezed into the course giving us 12 to play with for a change.

The extra variety was very well received judged on the comments made during and after the shoot. A few of the tougher old stands had recieved subtle little mods with the result that average scores were 10% better this week.

Top gun was Gary Griffiths with 61, the first score in the 60's this year. Runner up with 57 was Bob Warder. The scratch Bronze spot was taken by Ian Edwards, who in his usual way shot many stands as simultaneous pairs. Ian's strange shooting habits have rarely earned him a mention on this page but this week he exceeded his average score by a massive 8 targets and walked away with the Handicap Gold medal. Well done Ian.

Handicap Silver went to Gary Griffiths with the Handicap Bronze spot going to Mark Reacord who continues to chisel away at his average score. Keep it up Mark.

A dull and overcast afternoon at South Worcester but no rain and some cracking scores. Len took the scratch top spot with a very satisfying 85. Runner up was Ian Edwards who followed a great morning shoot with a super 77 at SW. We feel he's been practicing somewhere same break. Tony Gray took the Bronze place just one behind with 76. Ian beat his average score by 12 clear points to take the Handicap Gold position. Handicap Silver was taken by Len with Tony taking his second Bronze place by adding the Handicap place to his scratch position. A 'smashing' day's shooting all round.
