A super set of 12 stands again at Butlers this week. 7 shooters beat their average so the targets were also a good mix. I found just a couple of clays that were seriously challenging. I missed every one of the silly little incomers on the bottom stand and all of the right to left going away on the elevated stand at the bottom field.

Chris Arther returned to top form and was top gun with 60 kills. Well done Chris. Dave Salter took the Silver spot with 58 leaving Rhiddian Billingham to take scratch Bronze place with an excellent 56 plus handicap difference. Drew Beaumont took the Handicap Gold medal with his best score for a year. great shooting Drew. Chris Arthur's scratch winning score also placed him in the handicap Silver position. Ian Jeffries took the Handicap Bronze position with almost 4 breaks better than his average. Some excellent shooting all round. Len took the scratch Gold place at SW with 82% of targets broken. Geoff Pomroy's 78 earned him the scratch Silver with Tony Gray's 77 taking the Bronze spot. Jonathan Skelding's 76 was almost 5 better than his average and easily won him the handicap Gold position. Len was handicap runner up with Tony Gray taking the Bronze position.

The windy but relatively warm day at both shoots has given us hints that spring will be upon us soon. Can't wait.
