An impressive set of targets this week that was probably inspired by the 'Extreme' shoot that Shane put on last weekend. A couple of soft pairs lulled a few of us into thinking we were in for another set of high scores but that was not to be. It turned out to be a very tricky but excellently thought out range of targets.
A great re-shuffle I thought. No one exceeded their average score this week. Indeed, the winning scratch score of just 54 was retuned by Bob Warder. It was his lowest score this year so, strangely enough, both congratulations and condolences are in order this week David Nightingale and Julian Waszczak each scored 52 but David took the silver place on Handicap adjustment. David's score won him the Handicap Gold. He beat Mark Reacord's score by just under 4 targets, leaving third place to Malcolm Speer. A sobering set of scores but a super layout. Well done Shane.
Only two of us at South Worcester. Once again, some difficult targets but Len's12g prevailed over John G's awesome little 28g on both results. A good day's shooting all round.
