03.08.22. It looks like I missed a good shoot again this week. A well constructed course according to one of the better scorers. It was certainly a tester going on the averages.
Top score was returned by Dave Nightingale with a score of 57 which beat Bob Jordan by 2. Fei Kong, who always puts in a good score, broke an excellent 54 to take the scratch Bronze position.
The difficulty of the course, (stand one had a particular mention} was highlighted by the fact that only 2 shooters beat their average. The Handicap Gold was won by David Nightingale's scratch winning performance. Handicap Silver went to the steadily improving Dave Gee with Don Walford taking a well won bronze position.
South Worcester shooters were thin on the ground this week. Only 3 scores recorded but all were below their averages. It looks like Becky had put on some of her 'specials' to stiffen the course up a little. Top Spot went to Jonathan Skelding with 68 kills, closely followed by Trevor Griffiths just one target behind. John Griffiths, (no relation) managed to smash 43. Trevor G took the Handicap topsot by just 1.5 targets from Jonathan Skelding with John G.in third spot.
Your commentator is still on holiday and will remain so until the end of the month. Lucky bugger some of you might be thinking but rest assured, I feel I'm missing some good shoots and looking forward to getting back into the fray. Until then, keep the scores coming in.
