The much improved course was, once again, well received by an impressive turnout of Dodgers this week. A couple of testing stands matched by a couple of ego boosters gave everyone a nice morning's sport. on a nice, well balanced set of targets.

Len turned up with a fresh gun to try and put in his best score this year, a super 66 broken clays to win the scratch Gold medal. Looks like he is going to have to find a spare slot in his already crowded gun safe. Simon Honeyborne took the Silver place with another best score of the year. His 61 just beat Bob Warder's similar score into third place on handicap difference. Len's 66 also took the Handicap gold by beating his average by over 14 points. Simon took the Handicap Silver place with Malcolm Speer just edging the Bronze place by just 3 hundreths of a target from Chris Arthur. A most enjoyable shoot with only 4 shooters failing to beat their average scores. Well done Shane.

A busy day generally at South Worcester but social committments left us with a small Coffin Dodgers squad. A pity as it was a good shoot highlighted by an RAF A400 Airbus giving us an impressive display of tree hopping.right across the ground. It could not have been higher than 500ft and easily drowned out the noise of our 12 bores. Len took the High gun award with a satisfying 83 targets broken. Geoff Pomroy took second spot with 73 with John griffiths a single target behind with 72% of his targets destroyed. That score gave John G the handicap Gold spot, beating his average by an impressive 10%. Len was runner up with Geoff taking handicap Bronze position. We all had a mention this week.
