Had several positive feedbacks come in with the scores this week. Wednesdays windy conditions added an extra tier of interest to what were described as a mixed bag with some difficult tagets.
The shoot was generally enjoyed with the only negative comments coming from the stronger squads who felt they had under performed. Congratulations Shane and James on a job well done.
Top scratch score was shot by Julian Waszczak with a creditable 60 breaks. An excellent score given the low average for the day. Runner up, just a single target behind was Gary Griffiths who's 59 indicated that he was close to resolving the eyesight problem that has blighted his scores over the last couple od years. Keep it up Gary.
Third spot went to Bob Warder who's 55 beat the next placed shooter by 4 points indicating that the scratch winning trio shot in a class of their own. Top Handicapper was Gary Griffiths who shot 6 targets better than his average. Runner up was Julian Waszczak who was the only other shooter to beat his average. Don Walford filled in the handicap Bronze position, just missing his average by les than half a target. Well done Don.
With only 3 Dodgers shooting, South Worcester's scores were low. Scratch winner was David Talbot who hit 53% of his targets. Silver went to Trevor Griffiths who trailed just one target behind Davids winning score. John Griffiths filled the bronze spot with a disappointing, (for him) just 40% 0f targets hit. Only 2 shooters qualified for handicap positions with John G on top with a score 14.5 below his average. Trevor G was 3 points behind to take Silver spot. David Talbot had insufficient results to qualify for a handicap spot.
