There were five people with 58/75 this week, Len, Dave S, Peter, Li and Bob J. Peter becomes high gun for the first time when his handicap is taken into consideration. He also wins the weekly handicap medal. Very well done! Average score was 48.2.

This week we celebrated Rose’s birthday, she had kindly brought along a cake for us to demolish. Yet another poor soul to suffer a Dodgers’ rendition of ‘Happy Birthday to You’!

Thanks to Eric for being such a prolific provider of material for the newsletter over the years. This week did not disappoint. KotR hastens to add that this account was not gleaned through first-hand experience.

As is the Dodgers’ routine, queues form in the Gents prior to the commencement of the shoot.

When a urinal became available, to Eric’s consternation, he couldn’t find the ‘little-fella’! When his panic subsided, he realised that he had merely put his underpants on the wrong way round. During the course of the morning a number of comments were made to KotR concerning Eric’s unfortunate predickament (sic). Should any Dodger feel that they would like their comments included in a newsletter, please advise KotR.

The new squadding system is settling down and seems to be working OK. It certainly has taken a great deal of last-minute pressure from KotR. New clip boards have been provided, complete with pencil clips.

At South Worcester, we were joined this week by Alister and Mike who haven’t shot with us for a while.

Len continued his good form, hitting 83/100, with Alister just three targets behind. The tower crosser buggerated Trevor’s score once again, but scrutiny of the score card managed to ‘eek’ out another target, taking his score to 70 for his .410.
