Trevor was first to arrive and was greeted with the vision of a dog dragging Harley around the car park. The dog (Harley, not having much say in the matter) quickly introduced himself to Trevor, as it did with anyone else he saw during the morning.

It is a five year old rescue dog which would answer to the name of Pinto had it not been deaf! Please try to imagine an image of this ‘beastie’ humping Ian E’s leg and try to keep a straight face. For those of you who are yet to meet Pinto, when you do, just think of such an image and try not to smile.

Malcolm took great delight in telling Trevor, that although he had pretty much ‘malcolmed’ everything, he had NEVER ‘malcolmed’ his gun! Trip back to the car for Trevor then.

Gary made a welcome return and shot a very creditable 57. Rose is back with her 20 gauge and shot a 41. Sadly Eric’s 60 lost a target as he had been ‘ericed’.

Shane took advantage of his annual day off and joined Bob W’s ‘squad’ for the morning. He shot a superb 84/100. Very well done. Bob W was high gun with the Dodgers.

Peter hit a personal best for the year so far with a pleasing 57 and was deservedly this week’s handicap winner. Eric also hit his PB for the year and Malcolm equalled his.

Fortunately storm Doris didn’t arrive on Wednesday and we were able to shoot some excellent targets over eleven stands.

KotR expects to receive the new awards badges before next week. Details how to win them should appear in next week’s newsletter.

John G was kind enough to button and mark for Trevor at South Worcester although he wasn’t shooting himself. Not that Trevor troubled the targets too much, only killing 55/100. Some issues occurring with second barrel not going ‘pop’. May be cartridge problem. Nice to see James again at S. Worcester.

Butler’s Len tied with Bob J for high gun with 55/75. Bob takes it with his handicap. Eric Lee handicap winner Average score was 43.9

South Worcester Len was high gun with 77/100. John G won the handicap

Butler’s Bob J was high gun with 61/77. He also won the handicap. Average score was 48.2
