The dreary conditions did not prevent a very large turn-out this week which included many people who do not normally shoot on a Wednesday. We managed four squads again this week with 19 Dodgers shooting.
Robert was delighted to take delivery of his new car at the club this morning.
It was a particularly challenging course with some challenging targets. It is to be hoped that the more difficult ones remain so we can attempt to ‘master’ them. Our average score was only 43.9. Julian was high gun with 54/75 with Len and Eric on 53! Surprisingly today, we were missing targets which would not normally cause us difficulty. Five of us were in the 50’s with Rose scoring a pleasing 51.
Unfortunately, Ian was unable to attend this week and it was unclear if the groan when this was announced was of delight or dismay.
The high looper on the skeet layout evades most of us and the crossing pair at the far end tended to test everyone’s eyesight. The delay before the first target appeared did not help. We need to shoot these targets more frequently. Well done to Shane again for setting this course.
Bob J reports that our badge manufacturer as buggerated-off from their usual premises. Hopefully they can be located.

Sadly our South Worcester Dodgers were unable to pay John and Pauline a visit this week for a variety of circumstance. ‘We shall be back’!
